   Welcome in Rotterdam. Rotterdam is the architectural capital of the Netherlands. Its imposing skyline can be seen from far, characterised by landmarks as the Euromast observation Tower and the swan-like curve of the Erasmusbridge. As a young international city, Rotterdam continues to evolve and rebuilt. Skyscrapers are being build everywhere and rise steadily towards the stars. No wonder Rotterdam is internationally known as the City of Architecture.

 But Rotterdam is more than just architecture. The city is known for having a relaxed, laid-back and creative vibe. There is always something to do and explore. Especially if you are into art, festivals, music or fashion. Rotterdam has been voted Best Festival City of the Netherlands three times. September this year we went worldwide and won Best Festival City of the World. Our favourite hotspots are the Witte de Withstreet with its many art galleries, collectives, bars and restaurants. Also the Nieuwe Binnenweg is a great spot to chill out, shop, drink, smoke or just mingle with the Rotterdam people.

 Nightlife There are a million ways to discover Rotterdam by night. The most popular clubs at this moment are Maassilo, Of Corso, Club Vie and Catwalk. We ourselves love to hang out at Rotown, a great venue to spot up and coming bands and to have a relaxing evening out on the town. Another personal favourite is Witte Aap on Witte de Withstreet. This bar was nominated as best bar of the world by Lonely Planet. In the mood for something different; try Jazzcafe Dizzy. They have a free open jazz session every Monday.
